This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The left side has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
Hi there I work with Photoshop CS3. I don't really have a technique, though I don't work with layers like most people do. First I change the contrast of the B&W photo to make it look more vivid (because B&W photos aren't lit the same way color photos are), than I simply paint over the photo with a brush, starting with a basic skin tone, than doing the eyes and the lips, than reworking the skin tone with light, contrast and hotness to make it look alive. Than the background. It's really much more of a feeling than a technique. I work more like a painter... I hope this will be of help to you. I'm afraid I can't share any technical stuff, because I just don't know the words in English :-S Good luck and please share your colorizations
Hey there Thanks for your comment! I'm so glad you like my work! I've got my own little technique for colorizations. It involves a lot of work on light and contrast. It gives a more realistic feel to the picture... Just adding colors wouldn't work since B&W weren't lit the same way color pictures are today. Thanks again
